ABOUT The Dead Swingers is our tribute to the great Jazz Male Vocalists. Originally starting off with just a few charts by Mel Torme and George Shearing, the band now has a jazz repertoire encompassing the likes of Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole and Cy Coleman. Another side showcases the Blues and Jump/Jive music of Louis Jordan, Louis Prima, Count Basie and Ray Charles. The Band appears as a Quartet (Piano Trio plus vocals) or a Sextet with two horns. We have played for Jazz Clubs, Theatre shows, Concerts, Lindy Hop, Swing Dances and Functions.
